Banking

Player Deposits & Account Balances

To ensure that player funds are always safe at APLady, all player account balances are held in segregated accounts, which are managed by a leading European Financial Institution. This leading European Financial Institution is the second largest Financial Services group in Europe by market capitalization and the sixth largest in the world.

The segregated accounts that contain all player account balances are not used for any operational expenses. This ensures that player account balances are completely safe and secure. Any and all liabilities to players can be immediately fulfilled at all times by APLady. 

Security

Software Download
When using Internet Explorer, the validity of downloaded executable is verified by the browser using our key and Thawte certificate.

When using any browser other than Internet Explorer, we use 1024 bit RSA key and a Thawte server certificate to protect our HTTPS web server and download.

Software Security Built-In Features
We also have a number of features to protect your privacy while you’re playing at APLady.  Our client software uses the certificates issued by our own Certificate Authority (CA) to authenticate our servers.  APLady software authenticates our servers by using the industry standard DES combined with APLady’s custom encryption algorithm.

Collusion

Whether you play in brick & mortar card rooms or online poker players are always aware of the possibility of collusion.  Collusion is when two or more players become aware of other players hands and work together to cheat the table out of money.  If anyone should be caught in the act of collusion they will be banned from APLady permanently. 

APLady has state-of-the-art algorithms and software in place to immediately identify any fraudulent or unscrupulous activities.  Aside from just the algorithms, activity on APLady watched for by a full team of professionals, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The algorithms will track any collusion through APLady’s sophisticated software as well as monitored 24 hours a day seven days a week by our team of professional analysts.  There are a variety of strategies used by our analysts to uncover and identify collusion in conjunction with our set algorithms.  Any complaints will be taken seriously and fully investigated. 

Hackers
APLady is secure in the transfer of any information between its players and our APLady servers.  We utilize the internationally accepted industry standard SSL v3/TLSv1 encryption algorithm to protect your information as it transfers between our client application running on your computer and our servers.  So whether it is a credit card, your name, password, your cards, your personal address and any other private information is protected.  Player cards are sent directly and exclusively to the individual player’s computer without ever being susceptible of being hacked.  Also no other computer playing at your table can see your face down cards.  These measures of security are the best and prevent these actions from taking place. 

Card Shuffling

It is critical for card shuffling to take place using a shuffle algorithm as part of our software.  This shuffling algorithm is fair and unpredictable.  There is no deck of cards that is shuffled as thoroughly as the APLady algorithm shuffles our cards.  In each game the deck is shuffled 10 times with each shuffle moving each card somewhere between 1 and 51 times throughout the deck (10 passes at Knuth’s full shuffle algorithm).

In addition to the shuffling algorithm, APLady uses a random number generator.  The entropy pool needs to be large enough to allow it to be impossible for any player to have an advantage over the other players.  APLady’s Random Number Generator has been fully certified as random by a well known third party, Technical Testing Systems, Inc, http://www.tstglobal.com
